Author Guidelines

Introduction

Arena Hukum quarterly publishes scholarly articles of law (April, August, and December) at Arena Hukum Journal Unit of the Faculty of Law Universitas Brawijaya.

Article categories

  1. Submitted articles must not be published previously. Submitting published articles will lead to sanctions imposed by Arena Hukum.
  2. Articles must be written in English.
  3. Articles could be derived from research papers or reviews of thoughts in law.
  4. Any given terminologies must be typed in italic.
  5. The first line of each paragraph must be indented a tab

Article submission

  1. Submit your article to arenahukum.ub.ac.id. Online submission requires an account to log in. Online submission goes to http://arenahukum.ub.ac.id/index.php/arena/user/register
  2. Receipt is issued upon submission.
  3. Manuscript must be original and have not been submitted or published elsewhere. Attach ARTICLE ORIGINALITY STATEMENT with IDR. 10.000,00 stamp fee (materai) downloaded from here.

Article format

  1. Write your article in a single-column and page number it. The article should be a minimum of 6000 words.
  2. Type your work on A4 paper (210 x 297 mm) with 1.5 space.
  3. Title: not more than 12 words in Bahasa and 10 words for title in English
  4. Author(s) name: Do not abbreviate name(s), do not include academic titles, type your name(s) in bold.
  5. Full Address: give full address of an institution or workplace you work at with its postal code, phone, fax number, and email address.
  6. Abstract and keywords:
  7. Introduction
  8. Discussion: elaboration of problems
  9. Conclusions: providing brief answers to the problems discussed
  10. REFERENCES: 80% references sourced from Journal or at least 20 journals (60% Scopus indexed journals) and should be within the past 8 year publication
  11. Use Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (full note), recommended using Mendeley:
